The Mayan Riviera offers the most amazing ecological parks in the world. Some of them include:
Xcaret: located 8 km. south of Playa del Carmen, this spectacular Riviera Maya theme park encompasses dozens of attractions and exhibits.
It is married nature and culture that inspire awe. Rich with native flora and fauna, Xcaret takes in waterfalls and rivers, both underground and above. The experience is surreal for snorkelers floating in clear subterranean rivers, canal, and tunnels.
Other fun includes swimming with dolphins, a butterfly pavilion.
In the evening, Xcaret put on show spotlighting traditional Maya ritual. Three hundred artists take the stage to wow visitors with regional music dance
Xelha: Like a giant aquarium, Xel-ha mixes salty Caribbean Sea with fresh under Ground Rivers, north of Tulum .Wooden bridges weave through the park to ancient Maya sites, caves, and cenotes.
Vibrant tropical fish, green blue yellow parrot fish, snapper and grouper make these lagoons famous among snorkelers. Sea trek Scuba, and dolphins programs are also conducted. Plop onto an inner tube and float down a river. Witness the wildlife, this is living.
